Case Study at Austin Entertainment Venue

TOPGOLF, AUSTIN, TEXAS  |   SEPTEMBER 2015

tg-logoSocial Flash Media (SFM) engaged in a case study with Topgolf Austin and it’s customers to evaluate the effectiveness of a SFM Free Range social photo system in an entertainment venue setting.  This initial 7 day case study was followed-up with another 7 day period to better understand how the traffic and engagement would be affected by locations within the venue.

The Objectives

This case study was designed to:evaluate to what extent SFM can drive customers to various Topgolf specified sites via social engagement.

  1. determine system usage rates at various locations (per additional case study segments).
  2. evaluate the user experience through observation
  3. evaluate residual life-span of each marketing promotion.176a8f92-abff-404d-9ab2-9b3e473a95a2
  4. gather valuable information for both SFM and Topgolf by interviewing management of Topgolf to understand the overall effectiveness of the system.

 The Solution

Social Flash Media (SFM) scheduled several campaigns that were managed remotely, to cover

different promotions that were ongoing
throughout the 14 days of the case study.  The Free Range Photo Kiosk allows patrons to take and share photos at their leisure and expand engagement via Facebook, Twitter, MMS/Text and email.  Content ranged from a one evening “Topgolf Nights” themed promotion to more neutral, longer running campaigns over the 14 days.

In the first 7 days, Topgolf patrons took 1,487 photos, with ….
